Christmas Time in the City

Well Christmas 2005 has come and gone and I have been slow getting this posted. I just was too tired.

Well Christmas Day was actually quite early. I was up around like 10. This is amazing compared to previous years where we have eaten breakfast at 12 then open gifs and by the time we are done it's just about supper time. This year was much much better. I had most of the afternoon to play with one of my confusing gifts.

For gifts I received some really cool things I didn't expect. This year we decided to draw names for gifs instead of getting everybody one due to the fact we were very disorganized with my mom being sick and Alison (my sister) and I being poor students. I was tasked with getting things for my Mom (real gift) and Kathryn (oldest sister, but a joke gift). I got my mom a diffuser (It's for oils) and I got my sister two car keys on idiot strings as before Christmas she locked herself out of her Running car. Also made little mittens for the keys to fit into.

As for me I received a few gifts along the way,

- A Rubix Cube for my joke gift from my mom. It's Awesome!
- Some Rode Ski wax/case/cork kit from my uncle. I now have my Own Rode Special Green Wax. I'm pumped. (I'll explain the wax at a later date)
- A Craft Shift Pullover, This one is Navy and I'm now up to 5 of these things in various styles which rocks as they are so warm and practical.
- Some money, I have already gone out an gotten an Salomon Motomesh Sweater.
- John Deer Underwear from Shawn, I have yet to try them on but due to their size I don't think they'll stay on.
- The last thing I got was The Complete Calvin And Hobbes. While trying to guess what it was I assumed it was shot-put balls. This is a collection of Every Calvin and Hobbes comic ever published in a 3 book hard cover collection, with dates for each comic. It is super nice and heavy at 22.5 pounds! That's a mass of 3.3 kilograms per book. It also features some other cool stuff, I am loving it along with the rest of my family who must be reading them as I keep finding volume one on the kitchen table.

Well That's all. I didn't get much but what I got is awesome and I'm very happy with Christmas this year. Because of me being so busy before Christmas I didn't find it that commercial this year. Have a great time the rest of the break everybody!

Playboy: A Magazine Review

Well for those of of you who read the title and are confused, let me explain. Now in some ways I brought it on myself but I instead choose to blame Melissa. If you would like to review our chat log then just ask. I will email it too you. It is to the effect that i said i had never read one, so she decided to buy me one for Christmas. What follows is a review.

This Magazine Sucks. There I said it. I know that some of you will get mad at me for saying that but so far I have read 89 pages and so far it's been very very boring. The Cover suggests something quite exciting. The cover features a nice picture of Marilyn Monroe, which is very tasteful and very frame-able. There is nothing in the first 30 pages of note. Page 31 starts getting better where it talks about upcoming movies and other stuff, eventually leading to books. Playboy has stuff on books you can read, their book of them month is about something in 1908 even. Then the best part I found was page 46. It discusses Scotch and stuff about scotch, it's awesome. Even my 12 year old Glenfiddich is in there.

The Playboy advisor follows this. Some of these questions are just wacky. They are all over the place. There is stuff about everything. Then there is some crap about fourums then is what could of been a great interview with Pierce Brosnan but it goes on for like 15 pages. It's just like a bunch of questions that that just stupid and redundant. At page 74 it gets into the cover story about Marilyn Monroe. It's an investigative report on her death. Now I have never heard of Playboy having a crack squad of investigative journalists, and based on the writing I was correct in my assumptions. It is also so poorly edited that it's on page 80 yet the story continues on page 192. It's just one page and then continues on 192? That's Wack! Although the article is somewhat stimulating about what might of happened. It is the fact i am reading this is Playboy that it causes me to question it. I have yet to continue reading the article on 192 so I have yet to read how they think she died. All I know is that she is very beautiful and apparently she is where the entire 0.7 formula comes from.

Where I have so far made it through the magazine is an article on Sex in the Cinema for 2005. For being Playboy it's quite cerebral, but mostly it's just pictures of the nudity that was in the movies; however, most of it is like "Women in bathtub" well you can't see any nudity so it's sorta dumb. Also most of the pictures are from behind. So at most you see a bum.

Well that's all I've so far read. I have enjoyed reading Macleans more than this, and this is the newly edited Macleans that has hard to read type and that is not like some US tabloid in content. I want my old Macleans back. I just hope none of you find it sad that I'd rather read Macleans then Playboy.

Apparently the only reason to buy this magazine is for the nudity. If you are under this assumption then don't buy it. I'm not at the centerfold yet but I'm sure all it is, is some random naked airbrushed woman. I have actually realized that both Maxim and Cosmopolitan have worse sexual content too. There you can't show naked people and all they do is talk about sex. Here they can show naked people and they don't just talk about sex. I think that's odd. Then again I'm sure some other publication is out there that is a direct meld of Cosmo Articles and Playboy Picture.

Well maybe when I finish this i'll post about the rest of it but I'm really not inclined to read any further, except for one part as apparently the is a 4th American Pie Movie. I really didn't find the first 3 special but they were a good laugh so i'll have to find a torrent of the video.

Ohh and In some research for this post I have discovered that Teri Polo posed for an issue earlier this year, anybody got a copy of it? That would be an issue worth buying!

I hope you have found this informative and entertaining. And not at all offensive.

It's Been Way Too Long

Well our anual Christmas formal was the 25 of November and it was a blast. Basically the event is not even a formal. It's a night to get drunk while wearing formal clothing.

It was a good night as I had to work, So I dressed up in my good old kilt (The best outfit ever) and went to work. It was great supper with lots of food, to the point of me forgetting about dessert. Ohh well. After supper we proceded to take pictures of all of the council memebers that were there. We also got this nice one of our design games team. Mike lost way to much sleep over the transmitter.

Notice how much FUN Ben is having. Gregs just happy, Beatty hurting, and Gabe is just well doesn't care.

I just had to include this picture, The sad part is that this was taken that the beginning of the night when beatty had yet to drink anything.

Then on the next friday it was our last free beer night of the year. It was an awesome night and I ended up having a good chat with Shantell at the end of the night on the phone. Well I have now written 3 of my finals, I have 2 more to go. I know i've passed one of them so that's good, I just though I did better. So here are some more pictures.

Now this next one just made me laugh, It's been too long since he had that hair.

A Very Late Post

Hey Mother F*****, She's a Virgin Good Luck!

Well today I've been constantly singing Mony Mony and College Girls are Easy. It's been great! I've been constantly singing the three verses that I know. Hey Mother F***er, Get Laid Get F***ed! Hey Mother F***er, Cheap Sex Ten Bucks! and finally as above Hey Mother F***er, She's a Virgin Good Luck! I really miss the pub-crawl songs. It's been so long since I've been able to go on one. I want to sing the Heybobareebob verse about me, even though it's offensive it's funny. Then again when am I not offensive?

So recently I rediscovered StarCraft and I'm once again hooked. But I have a plan for finals. Starting Thursday night my disk will be locked away so that I'll never find it again till I'm done my first 3 finals. Then i have 9 days to study my ass off for English and Computer Science. But Playing against Mike has been fun. For those of you who still play, and you should play, I play on battle net west and my ID is TDEnterprises. So get your StarCraft up and running and lets play.

Now this year has been fun by taking pictures for the SESS. So far I've taken 1300 pictures this year. That is a lot of pictures, 1.6 Gigs worth so far. I'm worried that I wont be able to post all the good ones to my blog as there are so many. Ohh well I may just have a pictures blog of like 10 pictures a day so that you get all the good ones.

Now for those of you who care it is currently 97 Days, 23 Hours, 14 Minutes and 40 Seconds till my 20th Birthday. Geez I'm getting old. Now also that means that the ultimatum will have to be completed before then. So if anybody is up for completing it then just let me know. And yes I'm not going to tell you what it is about till you commit. So volunteer at your own risk, but don't worry it's not that bad.

WOOT! WOOT!

I just got an electronic mail message (E-mail) from my boss and I DON'T work this weekend which means that Free beer is a GO! This is the best news I could of received all week.

...Ohh Yeah I'm Dead

It is with great sadness that I inform you all of my passing. I died recently and am now living in heaven, which apparently isn't that hard to get into considering I'm here. The one thing I don't like is the location. It's inside what appears to be a large airplane so there is always that hum of the engiens going in the background.

Actually I wrote a post but then realized that I didn't get it up so I'll post it soon and then add to it. It will discuss the leadup to events and then the post-event chit chat.
