Lunch Time.

Well it's lunch time at the dam. The regular girl who probably knows my name by now isn't here. It's odd, have nobody to discuss how boring this place is with, except you the readers.

However, It's hot outside. I think I might go for a swim tomorrow if it's this warm outside, I just don't have a Towel with me. Plus there are other people at the beach and they've been in the water a while so it must be of a bearable temperature, but they are also girls and don't have the same chilling problems.

So I'm trying to come up with a date to go camping, Just setting up a tent and relaxing camping. I don't think I've got time for a 4-5 day backpacking trip, but I know i'd love one. I'm gonna suggest first weekend after we're back from school. Why not? Input please! I'm thinking it would be really fun to just chill somewhere, lakes are nice things to have nearby.

Next time i'm in the city, Chris, we're going biking, Nathan, we're going Canoeing. Hell, today is one of those days where i would purposly tip the canoe. But not a C-2 racing shell, I've gotta keep my perfect record intact.

Later from Gardiner Dam

Rants!

It's Rant time!

Here is a list of two things pissing me off. Futureshop and SGEU

Now I like futureshop because it's one of the few places you can go at night to buy electronics and I like electronics. However I'm a nerd and what I really want is a badge or button that I can wear in a futureshop that basically informs the employees, don't try to sell me extra warranties, or accessories or crap. I know about Apple's warranty on ipods, hell i've used it 5 times, I don't need yours, I already said No 4 times. Also if your going to try to sell me a warranty, at least know how Apple's works, When I'm telling you the employee how it works that's just sloppy and I know that's where you make all your money! No offence but I read Engadget, TUAW, MacdailyNews, Appleinsider, and CNET news. I watch, Diggnation, DL.TV, Askaninja (not really apple realated but meh), and Macbreak. I listen to TWIT (This week in tech), Macbreak Weekly, and the Daily Source Code. I know about tech! So i don't mean to be rude but don't bother with me, I'll let you go and say incorrect things when somebody asks you a question (yes it happened and yes I made a comment to the other customers afterwards).

Now SGEU

I'm a member of SGEU, YAY! I got their newsletter the other day and in it, it lists the names of 4 people who are Scabs. These are people who crossed the picket line during the strike. Now I can understand why you might want to point these people out but it's just mean and stupid. These are 4 people who are a necessity to public safety and your mad at them for working? 3 of them worked for highways, so I'm guessing snowplow operators, which are somewhat necessary in Saskatchewan in the winter. the other was a Corrections officer, so your mad at Jail guard for working? Just what we need, criminals not being guarded by trained personnel. It's just stupid.
